Avant collection is made of 100% top quality hand crumpled linen. Very light texture and weighted only about 10.6oz. Carry baby up to 39 lbs. Portable size can be put inside your bag easily. For babies who sweat easily, linen is the most suitable fabric.

No chemical starches are used in the crumpled linen process. Our highly skilled artisans use a natural starch made form the Konjak plant. During dyeing process, the linen is carefully hand dyed in factories in Kyoto where they have dyed kimono fabrics for generations. Avant New York series are hand dyed on hand wrinkled linen. The method is called Yuzen dyeing, established about 300 years ago. One panel for each color to complete the whole print which gives it the luxuriantly dynamic and beautiful finish, just like a fine painting.
